Het circus reist rond in de omgeving van Carcassonne en overal waar het zijn tent opzet, stromen meeples toe. Je probeert je meeples in de buurt van de circustent te zetten om extra punten te verdienen, afhankelijk van een gedekt dierfiche onder de tent. Verder kun je je meeples nu ook als artiest inzetten en daar bij een speciale puntentellingen 5 punten per stuk mee verdienen. Circusdirecteuren zijn gewone meeples, maar krijgen extra punten als ze hun werk in de directe omgeving van het circus of artiesten doen. In combinatie met het basisspel is deze uitbreiding met ten hoogste 5 spelers te spelen, maar met Kathedralen & Herbergen kan er nog een speler meedoen.

Wij adviseren deze uitbreiding alleen met het nieuwste basisspel van Carcassonne uit 2016 te combineren voor de beste speelervaring, maar Het Circus is ook nog te spelen met het oude basisspel en de uitbreidingen. De tegels hebben een nieuwe stijl tekeningen, maar de achterkanten zijn gelijk gebleven.

Great Skin Conditioner

I ordered the unscented, and it is truly unscented. It is solid, but by rubbing you finger around the top of the tallow, it immediately begins softening and melting. I used too much the first time, as it leaves a sticky/tacky film on the skin, so as the instructions say, a little goes a long way. Even though the next time I was careful to use very little, I do think it leaves a little tacky and greasy feeling, but it does soften and protect the skin. My only complaint is that due to the size of the jar, and if you have long fingernails, you can't just rub your finger on top of the tallow without getting it all under your fingernails. I'd like the jar to be changed to a short wide mouth vessel, hence only a 4 star rating.
