Het LED-display met 5 verschillende gekleurde LED's rondes van de moderne uiterlijk van de handgrepen en Dairs de bestuurder om snel te bepalen welke temperatuur is ingesteld. Een andere speciale functie van de HG17 verwarmde grepen is de laag volt batterijbescherming. Het systeem herkent wanneer de batterijspanning te laag is en schakelt vervolgens automatisch de verwarmde handgrepen uit. Dit zorgt ervoor dat de batterij nog steeds voldoende spanning heeft om de engine te starten en te bedienen. My biggest complaint is the Velcro placement. When the arms and legs are detached, the rough (hook) side of the Velcro is on those pieces, so they stick to and snag the carpet. The soft (loop) side is attached to the body of the toy. I really wish this were reversed to prevent snagging. Also, my small 10 lb dog isn’t quite strong enough to detach the arms and legs when they’re fully secured. We have to fasten them loosely to make it manageable for her.
