Vinificatie: de druiven worden in de laatste week van augustus geoogst met een opbrengst van 50 à 60 hl/ha. Na het ontristen en kneuzen van de druiven volgt een warme (25-28°C) maceratie gedurende 10 dagen om alle aroma's en kleurstoffen te onttrekken uit de schil. Na de gisting volgt een persing waarbij de wijn separaat wordt opgevoed. Eén deel gaat gedurende 6 maanden in eiken vaten, het andere deel gaat naar een inox tank om het fruitige en kruidige karakter te bewaren. Beide delen worden weer samengevoegd en gebotteld. De wijn harmoniseert dan nog gedurende 2 maanden in de fles.

Geur: intense aroma's van zwart bessenfruit en kruiden, typisch voor Primitivo

Smaak: zacht van aanzet en erg vol in structuur, met veel chocolade
