Groene en witte thee zijn het lekkerst bij 70-80°C, oolong thee bij 90°C en zwarte thee of rooibos bij 95-100°C. De lagere temperaturen (50-60°C) zijn perfect voor delicate kruidentheeën.

Hoe lang duurt het voordat het water de gewenste temperatuur heeft?

Bij 100°C duurt het ongeveer 114 seconden (bijna 2 minuten) voor 1,7 liter water. Lagere temperaturen zijn uiteraard sneller bereikt.

Kan ik de waterkoker gebruiken zonder de temperatuurinstelling?

Ja, je kunt de waterkoker ook gewoon als normale waterkoker gebruiken door de 100°C instelling te kiezen. Alle veiligheidsfuncties werken dan net zoals bij een standaard waterkoker.

Hoe onderhoud ik het kalkfilter?

Het kalkfilter is uitneembaar en afwasbaar. Spoel het regelmatig onder stromend water af en vervang het filter indien nodig voor optimale waterkwaliteit.
