Wat is Sucrose Stearate HLB16?

Sucrose Stearate HLB16 is a natural non-ionic emulsifier. This is obtained by esterification of sucrose with stearic acid. Sugar (sucrose) is esterified with a fatty acid from vegetable oils (stearinic acid).

This non-ionic emulsifier is very suitable for creating light, liquid emulsions with a low viscosity. This creates products that spread very finely and are quickly absorbed by the skin. The unique properties not only ensure stable emulsions, but also make them pleasant to use due to the silky soft and luxurious skin feel.

A perfect ingredient for formulating serums and other skincare products where a light, non-sticky texture is essential.

What are the benefits of Sucrose Stearate HLB16?

Silky soft and luxurious skin feel
Sucrose Stearate gives emulsions a silky and smooth texture. It does not leave a sticky or greasy film on the skin, providing a luxurious application experience.

Creates light, liquid emulsions
This emulsifier is specially made to develop products with a low viscosity, such as light serums that spread very finely and absorb quickly into the skin. This makes it ideal for products with a light, non-sticky texture.

Stable Emulsions
This emulsifier ensures a stable emulsion, both on oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions, even at low concentrations. This means less chance of separation of the emulsion and a longer shelf life of the end product.

How to use Sucrose Stearate HLB16:

Add 2-5% Sucrose Stearate to the water or oil phase of your formula. Sucrose Stearate can be used without heating, which makes it perfect for cold process formulas and for oils that are sensitive to high temperatures.

Sucrose Stearate is best used in combination with an eraser or other emulsifiers. This ensures better stability.

What Makes Sucrose Stearate So Special?

Sucrose Stearate is completely biodegradable. It is made from natural ingredients such as sugar (sucrose) and stearic acid, a fatty acid derived from vegetable oils. A conscious choice for environmentally friendly cosmetics!

A multifaceted biographical sketch
Format: Hardcover
A complicated personality who felt strongly no one was above the law; having been in Nuremberg in 2025 gave me a different perspective of the man as the prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials. He was meticulous and highly regarded in his career. Excellent read

An admiring but not uncritical portrait of a titan in the rule of law
Format: Hardcover
Professor White delivers an admiring but not uncritical portrait of a man who stood for qualities and principles now in short supply. Jackson was a leading practitioner when other judges were more political, but nevertheless had to speak the language of the rule of law. And his contributions at Nuremberg, haphazardly portrayed in the recent movie, really come through . The United States would help establish a record of epic misdeeds and show that the perpetrators could be punished in a system of justice.

Comprehensive and compelling
Format: Hardcover
With this volume, Mc Coy firmly establishes himself as a historian whose far sightedness only improves with age. A robust story teller, he demonstrates an uncanny ability to ferret the secrets out of arcane documents and records and connect the dots into a compelling narrative. Here he shows how the best and worst of political and military strategy in the US and the other cold war powers shaped the course of global events in profound ways. The lessons for us today simply leap from the page. This is a must read for any thoughtful observer of today’s world.
