Wijnhuis Santa Tresa bestaat al sinds 1697 en is vandaag de dag in handen van de Girelli familie. Het landgoed bestaat uit 50 hectare grond. Ze werken al jarenlang biologisch en hebben sinds 2009 de officiële certificering. De wijngaarden liggen bij de stad Vittoria in het zuiden van Sicilië. Op de vruchtbare vulkanische grond van de Etna groeien de druiven. De Frappato druiven worden met de hand geoogst tijdens de eerste dagen van september zodra de druiven de perfecte balans tussen suikers en zuurgraad hebben bereikt. De druiven worden in kleine container gedaan en worden ongeveer 48 uur gekoeld om de temperatuur te verlagen tot 10 graden. De druiven worden vervolgens zorgvuldig ontsteeld waarna de druiven in een pneumatische pers worden gedaan. Hierop volgt de alcoholische gisting bij 18 tot 20 graden voor de duur van 10 dagen. De tweede gisting vindt plaats in kleine autoclaven bij een temperatuur van maximaal 14 graden. De speciale giststammen die worden toegevoegd om de tweede gisting op gang te brengen, werken heel langzaam bij deze lage temperatuur, waardoor de versheid en typische kenmerken van de Frappato behouden blijven.Hoe smaakt de Santa Tresa Il Frappato Spumante Rosé?
Dan is het tijd om van de Frappato Spumante Rose te genieten. Hij kleurt mooi zalmroze in het glas. Het is een elegant glas wijn met frisse fruitige tonen in het boeket. Adorable but not sturdy :(
These are adorable and were perfect for a little dog wedding but... 3 days later and one has already come apart. My dog is not a big chewer so I was shocked to see it in pieces. She was able to detach the squeaker from inside. On a larger dog this would likely be a choking hazard.
I've had several other toys from Zippy Paws and never seen this happen.

The dogs loved it! Will buy again.
Style: Squeaky Chicken
My dogs have really enjoyed all the layers to this toy. It squeaks and has a noisy film on the inside of the cloth that they really like. The toy itself is very stiff and rigid but they like that. It’s been about 3 months and they recently broke through the pink layer so it lasts quite a while. It was a challenge for them to get the layer off once they had broken through the stitching so it would keep him occupied for a very long time.

My dog LOVES this, but...
Style: Squeaky Duck
My dog loved this right out of the box, she didn't learn to squeak it for a couple of hours, but she just stopped playing with her other toys, ragged as they may be...
My dog is a Manchester/hound dog mix, of some sort, I'm only sure about the Manchester, she resembles them in look, size, weight, and all else.
She weighs approximately 20-ish pounds, or so.
With that said, like I said, she loves it, so much so that within 16 waking hours after its arrival she brought me the inner squeaker, the body was in the kitchen. :)
She tore off the top part of the head and gained access to the squeaker, and EXACTLY as advertised and other reviews, it is a really good squeaky toy, she really doesn't seem to mind that the outer portion is gone, the (seemingly) durable squeaker might actually last.
She can still play with the 'body', the toy is made that when (not if) they rip off an appendage, the nentire innards WILL NOT come out. It's a well designed toy in that respect. So, at times she will play with that too, she has brought me the BODY several times too,
My dog is a really CRAZY chewer, she is somewhere under a year old and she will chew on anything that she is in front of her, including rocks, a blade of grass as she runs by, furniture legs, window sills, you name it, she has eaten it.
She is a problem dog, but we picked her, and we'd do the same if it was our kid, we wouldn't throw them out. :)
She has to be watched constantly, that is not the most fun, but, like they say, 'It is what it is'.
I mention all of that to show that even though she is a crazy chewer, the rubber portion of the toy is still 'with us', for now, I will update this if anything else develops, and I am sure it will.
Oh yeah, I really need to add, I don't think that the makers can make a chew toy 'outer' from anything that will last that long, not unless you go to a rope material, and I did not want that, it can be swallowed and cause more trouble. (Fabric can be swallowed too, but it's at least softer...)
So, really, more than likely you can't get any better than this if your dog is a crazy chewer too.
