Over deze wijn

De druiven van deze Barbera d'Alba groeien op de historische heuvel van Pian Romualdo in de gemeente Monforte d'Alba. Een gebied dat bekend staat om zijn levendige expressie van de barbera druif. 

De druiven voor deze expressieve, fruitgedreven wijn worden eind september, begin oktober geplukt waarna ze volledig worden ontsteelt en in stalen tanks fermenteren en macereren. De wijn krijgt geen houtopvoeding waardoor primaire fruitaroma's op de voorgrond liggen en je een zeer goede indruk krijgt van de kwaliteit van het fruit.  

Proefnotitie

De wijn kleurt licht rood/paars in het glas en bij het inschenken springt het rode fruit al uit het glas. Denk aan rode bessen, kersen, en verse pruimen. Daarnaast zul je ook viooltjes kunnen opmerken. In de mond is de wijn toegankelijk, harmonieus en elegant met lage taninnes en prettige zuren. Dit zou wel eens je volgende huiswijn kunnen worden!
