Deze Ardenne is gemaakt van eikenhout. De steektrappen zijn geschikt voor verschillende doeleinden standaard als vaste trap maar ook voor naar een vliering of viede en zijn makkelijk in elkaar te zetten. Uitermate geschikt voor de doe-het-zelver en worden geleverd doormiddel van een handige montage handleiding zodat je gelijk aan de slag kan!Een steektrap (ook wel een molenaarstrap genoemd) kom je tegenwoordig steeds vaak weer tegen. Deze strakke rechte trappen in eiken worden vaak gebruikt om een volgende verdieping te bereiken maar ook voor een vliering of split level. De laatste jaren is de renovatie van een eigen woning sterk in opkomst gekomen, en zien we ook weer een opkomst van de steektrap. Optioneel is het mogelijk om een steektrap te leveren met een leuning.
Een belangrijk voordeel van een SOGEM Ardenne steekstrap is dat wij deze kunnen leveren als bouwpakket in de vorm van een zelfbouwtrap. Wanneer wij jouw steektrap als bouwpakket leveren, kun je deze zelf eenvoudig in elkaar zetten en plaatsen. Een rechte Ardenne bouwpakket in elkaar zetten, is voor iedereen prima te doen.
De montage voor dit product is niet moeilijk, zeker niet met de technische tekening en montage handleiding die in de doos aanwezig is. Let op de wangen van deze trap zijn voorgefreesd, de treden zullen er niet altijd even makkelijk in vallen. Dit kan door weersomstandigheden zijn omdat dennenhout werkt. Je moet de uiteinden van de treden schuren. Om te voorkomen dat de trap teveel gaat werken is het van groot belang dat u de trap eerst gaat behandelen. De lak, olie of verf niet in de voorgefreesde delen doen, want dan past de trap niet meer in elkaar.

Great item, BUT…

Do I love it? Yes.
Is it well made? It certainly appears to be.
Is the leather thick? Yes, I’d say definitely thick and sturdy.
Do I like the color (Bootlegger Brown)? Of course I do, it’s gorgeous.
It seems very well made. The corners are secured with black fasteners, which I think are going to better than the buttons in the long run that I’ve seen on others. It’s was this brand, or Hide and Drink for me. I went with these guys because it’s U.S. made, and hopefully American sourced leather.
I bought the Large. My concern was that the XL might be too large for my nightstand. I measured it out and everything. However, I was not counting on the length and width to be measured from the end of the pinched corners, so I was a little disappointed about the size of the useable surface area. It’s not a big deal, but I wish that I’d have just spent the extra $5 and got the XL. If I we’re to get another, I definitely go with the XL unless you just want something on the smallish side, but still I suspect that they are larger that what most others are offering. At least these guys give you a choice of options.

It holds all my gear and looks fantastic!!

I wanted something to hold EVERYTHING. In the pic - 2 wallets, tactical flashlight, 2 personal bluetooth speakers, 2 pairs of Beats, chap stick, pocketknife. Missing are my reading glasses but they typically will fit in there too even in their protective sleeve. This would make a great gift and the leather is excellent feel and look. This is the Extra Large size and i am happy i went with the bigger one as i almost didnt. Wife thought it was a great purchased but mad that she didnt get the chance to gift it to me for Father's Day or birthday!! LOL
