Om te controleren of je Joy-Con last heeft van joystick-drift of een afwijking, kun je de volgende stappen volgen:

  1. Ga naar het startscherm van je Nintendo Switch en selecteer de "System Settings" (systeeminstellingen) in het menu.

  2. Navigeer in het systeeminstellingenmenu naar "Controllers and Sensors" (controllers en sensoren) en selecteer deze optie.

  3. Kies "Calibrate Control Sticks" (joysticks kalibreren) om de kalibratieprocedure te starten.

  4. Volg de instructies op het scherm om de analoge sticks van je Joy-Con te kalibreren. Tijdens de kalibratie kun je de beweging van de sticks nauwlettend volgen.

  5. Let goed op of de analoge sticks terugkeren naar hun neutrale positie wanneer je ze loslaat. Als je merkt dat de sticks zichzelf verplaatsen of een afwijking hebben zonder dat je ze aanraakt, kan dit wijzen op joystick-drift. Dit betekent dat de stick signalen verzendt alsof hij wordt bewogen, zelfs als je hem niet aanraakt.

Finally, a toy my dog hasn’t murdered
If your dog destroys toys like it’s their full-time job, this stick is the boss-level challenge they didn’t see coming.
