De wijnen van Prats & Symington zijn afkomstig uit de Douro vallei. Wat een van de oudste wijn producerende regio’s ter wereld is. Het wijnhuis is in 1999 ontstaan uit een joint venture tussen een bekende wijnmaker uit Bordeaux, Bruno Prats, en de Symington familie uit Portugal. De Portugeese familie wilde haar kennis van de verschillende terroirs en druifsoorten uit Douro koppelen aan de ervaring van Bruno Prats. Door deze samenwerking konden ze wijn produceren van de beste druiven van de beste percelen van de beste gebieden. Het wijnhuis is gespecialiseerd in droge rode wijn. De druiven voor deze Prazo de Roriz Douro worden met de hand geplukt en in kleine containers vervoerd naar de wijnmakerij van Quinta de Roriz. Hier worden de druiven handmatig gesorteerd en direct geselecteerd om ervoor te zorgen dat alleen de beste druiven in goede staat de roestvrijstalen vaten bereiken. De druiven worden zacht gemaald en gevolgd door fermentatie van de druiven met speciaal geselecteerde gist. Dit gebeurt bij temperaturen tussen de 22 en 24 graden. Daarna wordt zacht maceratie toegepast om verse en fruitige wijn te produceren. Deze Prazo de Roriz maar liefst zes maanden op eiken houten vaten van 400 liter. Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van Franse eiken vaten om wat meer diepgang te krijgen.Een volle en zachte rode wijn van Prats & Symington
En dat is gelukt hoor! In de geur heeft deze Prazo de Roriz indrukken van kersen en bessen aangevuld met peper en vanille. De smaak is ronduit fantastisch, vol en zacht met veel zwart fruit. Maar ook nuances van zwarte peper, vanille, pruimen en kruiden.Shipping Notes

The Chuck Norris of Dog Toys

If dog toys were superheroes, the Nevperish K9 Training Ball would be Batman—indestructible, effective, and always ready to save the day. This thing flies. I’m not saying I could take out a rogue squirrel in a single throw, but… let’s just say those little guys know to keep their distance now.
My 100lb German Shepherd, who we affectionately call "The Toy Terminator," has destroyed every squeaky, chewy, or bouncy thing in her path. But this? This glorious, rope-swinging masterpiece? She’s met her match. It’s like her teeth have signed a peace treaty with this toy.
Speaking of flying, if you have neighbors with a backyard that’s less than a football field away, be prepared for some fence-hopping cardio. I’ve had more awkward encounters with my neighbors than I care to admit. Thankfully, my shepherd has learned the art of the double hop—over their fence and back—like some four-legged ninja gymnast. Bonus: great entertainment for the neighbors.
This toy isn’t just a ball on a rope; it’s a lifestyle. Open fields? Perfect. Tug-of-war? Immaculate. Backyard fetch? A cinematic masterpiece. It’s basically the Swiss Army knife of dog toys, minus the danger of accidental stabbing.
Pro tip: Don’t underestimate how far this thing can go. My first throw ended with the ball in orbit—or maybe it just bounced off a satellite. Either way, my dog was thrilled, and now I need an arm warm-up routine before playtime.
So, if you want a toy that’ll outlast your dog’s dental fury and make fetch sessions the stuff of legend, this is it. 10/10, would absolutely get weird looks from neighbors again.

One Tough Ball!

Our dogs are loving this ball. Our 1 yr old hound is a world-class chewer and he can't make a dent in this ball. The interactive buzzing and bouncing keeps them entertained for long durations. It's a mite noisy but the barking from the 1 yr old is much louder, lol. Even turned off, they like playing with it and chewing on it. Based on the tough construction, we think it will last much longer than traditional chew balls.

If you love your dog…don’t buy this.

We have a nonaggressive English cocker. She opened the ball every time she played with it. And yes, we are closing it as hard as we can. I do not recommend this toy for any dog! This is a dangerous toy for a dog that is not supervised.
