De kwast licht vochtig maken met lauwwarm water, inzepen met scheerzeep of scheercrème, beweeg de kwast heen en weer over het gezicht, na gebruik de kwast schoonspoelen met warm water, en hang tenslotte de kwast omgekeerd op in een kwastenhouder.
