Hieronder meer over de wijnmaker en zijn achtergrond:

Languedoc/Roussilon/Minervois oftewel Sud de France.

Een gebied dat lang met een scheef gezicht werd aangekeken. Het was namelijk uitgestorven. Ik ben er geweest iets meer dan 40 jaar geleden. Geen bordje te zien met verwijzingen naar “Les Cathares”. Nu staan er irritant veel verwijzingen in die richting. Het gebied, zoals gezegd, destijds uitgestorven en daarom ook achtergebleven. Voormalige hoedenfabrieken in Quillan en Espéraza stonden er verlaten bij, leeg. Die in Quillan is afgebroken helaas.

Dus met de wijnproductie was het niet anders. Was voor locaal gebruik of werd en vrac verkocht ten behoeve van de Vin de Table. Maar met de opkomst van het toerisme is het tij in de wijnbouw ten gunstige gekeerd. Hier komen op dit moment prachtige wijnen vandaan. Op de eerste plaats is het klimaat gunstig: warm en winderig vaak door de Tramontane, de equivalent van de Mistral.

De overheersende druivensoorten zijn Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carrignan, Syrah, Cinsault en voor wit de Macabeo en rond Limoux de Mauzac. Die laatste is voor de traditionele bubbels van de Blanquette maar ook de Chardonnay en Viognier worden veel gebruikt. We laten u een selectie proeven bestaande uit drie verschillende families met een uitgesproken visie.

Rosier

De familie Rosier komt oorspronkelijk uit de Champagnestreek en heeft hier een mooi wijnbedrijf opgezet. Verschillende door hen geselecteerde vooral kleine wijnboeren rond Limoux maken uitsluitend voor Domaine Rosier gezonde druiven voor hun bubbels.

I love this chair! UPDATE: DEFECTIVE… it was a Great chair... a bit short for tall people!

I purchased this chair four years ago and really liked it. However, when it was damaged during a move, I attempted to replace it. Unfortunately, the replacement chair had a construction issue that had been repeatedly mentioned in numerous comments spanning over a year at least. This defect prevents the chair from being completely assembled, rendering it unusable (screw holes don’t line up). Amazon has failed to address this issue by removing these defective chairs from its inventory. You won’t be aware of this problem until you’ve almost completed assembling the chair. At that point, you’ll have to disassemble it, rebox it, and return the box to UPS. This is an incredibly inconvenient process, and Amazon must take immediate action to rectify this issue before anyone considers purchasing this chair again. Old review from 2023: Based on someone else's review, it would seem that this chair is perfect for average-height people but less great for those of us who are a bit tall or (according to her) a bit short. I'm 5'9 with most of my height in my legs. I like a chair to be tall enough that my legs can be straight to the floor from my knees to my feet and still have support under my knees. This chair is too short for that, even at it's highest setting, but it can be fixed with a simple replacement of the gas lift cylinder for a mere $20 (search for gas lift cylinder on Amazon). And the extra $20 is worth it because other than that one issue, this chair is great. My first experience with this chair was at work when the firm replaced all of our desk chairs. I loved it so much that I bought it for myself when I went into private practice. The lumbar support hits in just the right spot and moves with your body as you lean in and out. I love the cream color, and the seat is padded nicely. I especially love the liftable arms. I sit at my desk for 8+ hours straight 5-6 days a week, and I never have body pain-- Granted, I am only 36, but I have definitely experienced this with other office chairs that claimed to be "ergonomic". With a simple lift cylinder replacement and a movable standing desk (which I never actually stand at), I can finally sit at my desk without my knees hitting the underside of the desk or my legs having to be extended out to have support under my knees. These two things mean that I don't slump at my desk anymore, and my neck and back thank me! :)
