Combineer deze Contour Next glucose teststrips met de Contour Next, Next USB, Next One of Contour XT glucosemeter en meet snel en eenvoudig je glucose. Dankzij deze teststrip weet je al na 5 seconden hoe het met je bloedsuikerwaarden gesteld is. In de verpakking zitten 25 glucose teststrips. 

Let op: deze teststrips zijn alleen geschikt voor de Contour Next One, XT, Next en Next USB glucosemeters.

Ons gebruiksadvies

Testen met de Contour Next strips werkt makkelijk. Je kunt vooraf aangeven of je wel of niet hebt gegeten, waardoor je meet waar en wanneer je maar wilt.
Dat werkt zo:

  • Plaats een teststrip in de glucosemeter. De meter gaat aan.
  • Druk het prikapparaat stevig tegen de gewenste prikplaats en druk op de vrijgave-knop.
  • Wrijf je hand en vinger naar de prikplaats toe om een bloeddruppel te maken.
  • Raak de bloeddruppel onmiddellijk met de tip van de teststrip aan. Het bloed wordt opgezogen door de teststrip.
  • Houd de teststrip in de bloeddruppel totdat de meter piept.
  • Na 5 seconden kun je het resultaat aflezen.
  • Verwijder de teststrip om de glucosemeter uit te schakelen en gooi de strip weg als medisch afval.

I love this item. The size is perfect, as I prefer something less bulky for my work desktop. The knob and different colors that indicate the temperature range works fine. The temperature on this thing works fantastically well for me. Using it on the lowest setting keeps my drink nice and hot in a cold office. I use a heatproof glass teapot with this and its a good fit. It keeps my tea hot throughout the day, so I am able to pour smaller amounts of drink and take my time sipping it throughout the day without worrying that it will get cold. At point I almost forgot that it has an automatic shut-off safety feature when I noticed it was off. So that is a good feature to have. I highly recommend this.

The hotplate itself gets hot enough on its highest setting where it would burn your finger if you left it one there for more then a couple seconds. However when it come to what mug you can use to transfer that heat to your drink, this WILL NOT work with just any old ceramic, metal or glass mugs. You absolutely need to have a perfectly flat bottom on it. If the center of the bottom of the mug does not make direct contact with the very center of the warmer, it will not transfer heat. So straight way plan of spending another $15 to $20. Amazon has some available with good reviews all be it not a very big selection. I'm giving this 4 stars because the description needs to be very clear about this and its not.
