Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K

This advanced digital film camera represents a major leap forward in professional cinematography, combining extreme resolution with the familiar ergonomics of the URSA Mini platform. At its core is a revolutionary Super 35 sensor with a native resolution of 12 288 by 6 480 pixels, capturing an extraordinary 80 megapixels per frame. With 14 stops of dynamic range and the latest Blackmagic color science, it delivers rich color, smooth highlight roll off and highly detailed images suitable for feature films, episodic television and large format productions. 

The sensor design is optimized for multi resolution capture, allowing in sensor scaling to 8K and 4K without cropping or changing the field of view. Oversampling from 12K produces exceptionally clean 8K and 4K images with reduced aliasing and enhanced color fidelity. This makes the system especially well suited for visual effects, green screen work and immersive productions where fine detail and edge integrity are critical. 

Recording is handled in Blackmagic RAW, a highly efficient 12 bit codec designed to preserve sensor data while keeping file sizes manageable. This enables smooth editing of 12K footage on modern workstations and even laptops, while retaining full control over color temperature, exposure and gamma in post production. A wide range of resolutions and high speed frame rates is supported, including up to 60 frames per second in full 12K, 120 frames per second in 8K and up to 240 frames per second in 4K Super 16 mode. 

Built for professional set operation, the camera features a user interchangeable lens mount with a PL mount included as standard, plus optional EF and F mounts. Integrated IR ND filters with four positions allow fast exposure control without affecting color balance. Dual CFast and SD UHS II card slots provide flexible internal recording, while a SuperSpeed USB C connection supports direct recording to external SSDs.

A robust body design, professional 12G SDI connections, balanced XLR audio inputs and an accurate internal timecode generator ensure seamless integration into demanding production environments. DaVinci Resolve Studio is included, providing a complete workflow from editing and color grading to visual effects and final delivery.
