Het uitgebreide vinificatieproces van Chateau Reaut Carat de Chateau Reaut

Chateau Reaut, gelegen in de betoverende regio Bordeaux in Frankrijk, heeft een rijke geschiedenis die teruggaat tot de 18e eeuw. Gedurende de jaren heeft het chateau een onbetwistbare reputatie opgebouwd. De uitgestrekte wijngaarden van Chateau Reaut sieren het prachtige landschap en zijn strategisch gelegen op diverse locaties met verschillende bodemsoorten. Deze gevarieerde terroir creëert de ideale omstandigheden voor de teelt van verschillende druivenrassen, waaronder de klassieke Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon en Cabernet Franc. De druiven worden met de hand geoogst in kleine manden om de integriteit van de vruchten te behouden tot aan de sorteertafel. De vinificatie begint met zachte extractie en een gematigde gisting, waardoor de wijn kracht krijgt terwijl de fruitigheid, zoetheid en elegantie van de tannines behouden blijven. Vervolgens wordt de wijn overgebracht naar zorgvuldig geselecteerde vaten voor rijping. De rijping van Chateau Reaut Carat de Chateau Reaut vindt plaats in een combinatie van nieuwe en 1 jaar oude eikenhouten vaten. Ongeveer 50 procent van de wijn rijpt in nieuwe eiken vaten. De andere 50 procent rijpt in eikenhouten vaten van 1 jaar oud. Het vatrijpingsproces duurt meer dan 18 maanden, waardoor de wijn kan versmelten met het hout. Aan het einde van de rijpingsperiode wordt de wijn niet gefilterd om het fruitige karakter te behouden en de frisheid en jeugdigheid te behouden.

Not that great
Huge "The Simpsons" fan. I watched all the episodes and read a lot of the comics and enjoy most. This one however was quite boring. Turns out I'm just not a big fan of Chief Wiggum. I really enjoyed The "Homer" and "Bart" book. But not this one. Maybe if you love Wiggum you'll love it. If you're not too fond of him then I wouldn't buy it.
