Het witte katoenen overhemd is het vertrekpunt waaraan elke shirtmaker uiteindelijk wordt afgemeten. Bij Finamore 1925, opgericht in Napels in 1925 door Carolina Finamore en inmiddels in handen van de vierde generatie van de familie, is dat geen marketingzin maar een dagelijkse realiteit. Elk NAPOLI-hemd doorloopt zeven handgemaakte stappen in het atelier nabij Napels: het innaaien van de kraag, het aanbrengen van knopen met de klassieke leliesteek, het handwerken van de knoopsgaten, het inzetten van de mouwen, het afwerken van de schouder en de manchetten, en de afsluitende "mouche" met het F-embleem van het merk.

Het overhemd is gemaakt van 100% katoen poplin, een dichter geweven stofsoort die zijn structuur behoudt en een heldere, droge hand heeft zonder stijf te zijn. Het kenmerkendste detail van de NAPOLI-lijn is de "arriccio" op de mouw: een lichte plooi waarmee de mouwkop met de hand in het armsgat wordt genaaid, zodat de schouder soepel en onbeperkt kan bewegen. De kraag is ongewatteerd, wat hem een lichte, niet-starre stand geeft die met het dragen zijn vorm aanneemt. Regular fit, valt op maat, handgemaakt in Italië.

It doesn't have stuffing in the body as far as I can tell, so little to no clean up hopefully. They also sent her a spiked squeaky ball and she's getting used to it.
