De Riedel Performance Oaked Chardonnay set van 2 is ontwikkeld voor houtgerijpte Chardonnay en maakt deel uit van de innovatieve Performance-serie van Riedel. Wat is het verschil tussen een standaard Chardonnay-glas en een glas voor Oaked Chardonnay? Een glas voor houtgerijpte Chardonnay heeft een grotere, bredere kelk die meer zuurstofcontact mogelijk maakt, zodat romigheid, vanilletonen en rijp fruit zich volledig kunnen ontwikkelen zonder dat de zuren hun spanning verliezen. Dit model is specifiek ontworpen voor krachtige, in eikenhout vergiste of gerijpte stijlen.

Deze glazen zijn ontworpen door Georg Riedel en Maximilian Riedel en behoren tot de eerste serie waarin optische impacttechnologie werd toegepast.

De Performance-serie

De Performance-serie werd geïntroduceerd als technologische doorontwikkeling binnen het Riedel-assortiment.

De ribbelstructuur is functioneel en vergroot de expressie van aroma’s, vooral bij wijnen met houtrijping.

Gebruik

De brede kelk geeft houtgerijpte Chardonnay ruimte om te ademen en aroma’s vrij te geven. De licht toelopende rand concentreert de geur en behoudt frisheid in de smaakbeleving. Hierdoor blijft de wijn vol en romig zonder zwaar of log te worden.

De set is niet alleen geschikt voor houtgerijpte Chardonnay. Wij drinken zelf ook graag andere volle, romige witte wijnen uit dit glas, zoals Viognier met houtrijping of een krachtige Rioja Blanco waarin hout en structuur samenkomen.

Why are people trying to type on a laptop stand?

So the overwhelmingly negative reviews you'll notice for this product specifically surround the "bounciness" of this stand when someone is typing on it—however what is confusing to me is how people are purchasing a laptop stand in theory to optimize their ergonomics, yet also stretching their arms out and elevating them to type on said laptop once it's raised. the point of a laptop riser/stand is to elevate the screen so that you can maintain a more natural posture. One would assume you have an external keyboard to use in conjunction with your laptop once you place it on a RISER, because the idea is to elevate your laptop as a SCREEN and then have a level/flat surface to type on, thereby alleviating any awkward hunching or neck strain looking down or anywhere not naturally eye-level. as it is, it's a perfectly functional and elegant laptop riser. I don't find myself wanting to adjust the height often if ever, but in the one or two instances I experimented with it, found no mechanical issues. It looks nice with Apple hardware and allows me to have my laptop's screen flush with the bottom edge of my additional external monitor, so it serves my purposes well. for people complaining about how it bounces when they type on it ... STOP typing on your laptop's keyboard when you have it elevated on a riser! this defeats the purpose and probably also makes your arms tired—buy an external keyboard!

Nice Valet tray with Qi standard charger USB-C

I like this valet tray. I'm not fond of the message in the main compartment of the valet tray. It means they expect someone to buy it for their dad. I bought it for myself. What I like is the Qi standard compatibility of the wireless charger. It has many advantages over the wireless chargers that are sold. Most are round circles, so your phone teeters on the odd design. Some want to attach to my phone with some magnetic gimmickry. This valet tray takes a different approach. It has a built-in Qi standard wireless charger that's in a rectangular compartment. The USB-C wire that is USB-C at both ends is faster; that's the advantage of USB-C. It carries more power and higher data speed. But the Qi standard disables charging when the phone is at 100%. This avoids overcharging. It's an excellent design. The charging port is built-in to the side of the valet tray. Just the placement of the indicator light is under the phone. A fully charged phone doesn't trigger charging. It avoids overcharging. There is drawback the shallow USB port doesn't allow proper seating of USB C plugs this puts a lot of weight on a barely plugged wire.

Very Nice!

I must admit I was a little suprised at how nicely done this Valet Tray has been made. My father used to have one similar to this when I was a child (without the charging base) that came from Italy. It was made from real leather and he had it for many years. This Valet Tray reminds me of his. I realize it is not real leather but it is definitely an excellent grade of PU. The seams are Immaculate, with razor straight stiching. Not a single thread out of place. The Vege Leather is truly beautiful, with realistic and natural looking coloration and shading as real leather would have. The feel is the same as well oiled and polished leather. Honestly I am impressed with how much time and effort has been put into this Valet Tray. This is an excellent Gift for anyone who has a busy life and likes to know where their keys are etc.. As well as being an excellent place to set your phone. The charging tray works perfectly. The user manual that comes with this Valet Tray gives all the information needed. It is very simple and easy to set up. You simply plug in the cord that is included with the tray and when you set your phone down on the charging pad, Bingo! it begins to charge. You can tell when it is charging because the light will turn from blue (standby) to green (charging). I must say that I am extremely happy in every way with this Valet Tray. The different Sayings that these come with are very nicely done. This one says "Dad, Your'e My Hero, Thanks for Everything" There are other sayings as well by this company, as for this one I am looking forward to giving this one to my husband on Fathers Day (from our son) and see the happiness on his face. I would recommend this to anyone with a "Dad" in their life who could use one.
