Als all Tempranillo druiven hun rijpheid hebben gekregen worden ze geheel met de hand geoogst. Elke tros wordt optisch gecontroleerd om zo enkel de beste trossen te verzamelen. In kleine kratten worden ze trossen verzameld en vervoerd naar de pers van Cruz de Alba. Bij aankomst worden ze nogmaals gecontroleerd en zeer zachtjes gekneusd. Deze Cruz de Alba Crianza heeft een traditionele vinificatie, met rijping op nieuwe eiken vaten gedurende vijftien maanden. Na de vijftien maanden te hebben door gebracht op de mooiste houten vaten, vind wijnmaker Sergio Avila het nog niet goed genoeg. Hij laat deze rode wijn nog minimaal tien maanden door rijpen op de fles in mooie wijnkelders van Cruz de Alba. In alle rust wordt dit een koningswijn met in de geur aroma's van rood fruit, hout en tabak en een zacht en soepel karakter. De smaak is fantastisch, zeer aromatisch met indrukken van rijp zwart fruit, lichte kruiden, mooie aanwezigheid van hout en vanille en wat chocolade en cacao. Asurion "Assures" nothing!
Asurion has terrible Customer Support. All machine based. They give you no phone # for human interaction. Their online Support process is very close-ended. It is a checklist designed to frustrate purchasers whose issue lies outside only the very issue.
My issue: I bought "Cuisinart TOB-40FR Custom Classic Toaster Oven Broiler, Silver (Renewed)" on May 26, 2024. It stated it had a 90 day warranty. So I bought an Asurion Protection Plan also to cover it for 3 years. The toaster started flaking off metal finish inside the oven over the cooking area. I tried to file a claim with Asurion and they told me the Manufacturers warranty was still in effect and I should contact Cuisinart. This despite the oven was sold with a Amazon Renewed verbiage stating a 90 day warranty.
And they have nothing on their "Machine Checklist" to cover this eventuality. And I would assume I am not the only one who takes the "Renewed" route and backs it up with a "Protection Plan".
They will frustrate you no end. I suspect, like many insurances, they seek to deny, deny, deny, in hopes the purchaser will give up.

GIFT CARD AS REPLACEMENT, NO CHOICE OF CHECK OR REPLACEMENT. GOOD COMPANY
PROS:
* A decent company, responsive and fair.
* Allows you to buy items from anywhere you want, and buy the warranty at Amazon.
* Provides better coverage than other warranties, and covers more, including breakage!
CON:
They don't send you a check in order to buy wherever you want, send a replacement, or give you a choice. Instead, they send you an Amazon Gift Card. That's OK if you're a big Amazon shopper, but sometimes, you can get a better price elsewhere.
