Deze vilten bolletjes onderzetter is een verrijking voor ieder interieur. Je gebruikt hem als onderzetter voor schalen, pannen, bloempotten, theepotten, etc. De coaster is lekker dik en de zachte bolletjes geven de onderzetter een rustige uitstraling.

De ronde onderzetter bestaat uit wollen, gevilte bolletjes die aan elkaar zijn genaaid. Ze worden gemaakt in Nepal. Doordat de vilten onderzetter handgemaakt is, kunnen er kleine imperfecties in zitten. Die geven hem zijn charme en maakt iedere onderzetter uniek. De onderzetter is gemaakt van natuurlijk materiaal wat betekent dat er bijvoorbeeld enkele grassprietjes in de wol kunnen zitten. De ontvangen onderzetter kan iets afwijken van de foto. 

Productinformatie

  • Materiaal: vilt gemaakt van hoogwaardige wol uit Nieuw-Zeeland
  • Afmetingen: ongeveer 20 cm x 2 cm
  • Temperatuur: we adviseren de onderzetters niet te gebruiken voor pannen en schalen boven 200 graden Celsius, omdat de wol bij hoge temperaturen kan verbranden. Vooral gietijzeren pannen kunnen veel warmte vasthouden.  

Onderhoud 

Wol is een materiaal met bijzondere eigenschappen. Het is vuilafstotend en blijft lang mooi. Eventuele vlekjes verwijder je met een vochtige doek of voorzichtig onder de kraan met koud water en eventueel milde zeep. Was de onderzetters niet in de wasmachine. Let er bij het drogen wel even op dat je geen natte wol op een gevoelige oppervlakte plaatst, want de kleurstof waarmee de wol is geverfd, kan dan vlekken geven. 

Herkomst 

Dit product is handgemaakt in een atelier in Kathmandu, Nepal. De vrouwen die de onderzetters maken, ontvangen een eerlijk loon. Met dit werk verbetert hun toekomstperspectief. De producten komen rechtstreeks uit het viltatelier.

Sunscreen is super important because it allows you to stay in the rays of the sun. This tube of 50 SPF Aloe Up has been great so far! The tube, at 3 ounces, is a prefect size to keep in a toiletries bag. There was a seal under the cap and the tube has a small hole, which helps prevent unintended over-squeeze waste. The lotion is a bit thinner than I expected, but it rubs in smooth/invisible and smells great! I had no problem with breakouts or clogging of pores, and no burn under winter sun. With regard to winter sun, I rated this a 5 since so far this has worked great and there's been no problems...But... because we're under winter sun right now, I won't be able to test this under full strength sweaty summer sun for some time. I will come back and update this review if anything changes in the heat and stronger sun of summer. Hope this helps! :-)

Quality sunscreen with a light scent and no griminess!

Most sunscreens I have used in the past have a very distinct smell and/or leaves excess oiliness residue, so you can imagine I have my doubts when a manufacturer advertises its product have a clear and lightweight application with hydrating and comfortable feel on application. To my surprise, this product actually delivers on its claims! The consistency of the lotion itself is indeed very lightweight and easily works into the skin without being greasy as normally found with other brands. Despite its light application, I found that it still offers great protection after being exposed to moisture or coming in contact with water. A sunscreen with a relatively high SPF protection in a non-greasy, lightly scented and weighted application along with its accommodative formulary for sensitive skin is quite impressive; and about the only negative I can find is its high price for a 3 oz. tube relative to other brands. Overall, this is a good sunscreen at its list price, and one that I can recommend if you can find it at a discount.

Good for body, reapply often, use something else on face

We used this sunscreen at the Oregon coast on a cold but sunny February weekend and it had good sun protection. It’s non greasy and applies easily. No white cast when fully rubbed in and absorbed. My kids were able to use it without any irritations but I could not use it on my face, it irritated my skin immediately and I had to wash it off with facial cleanser and apply a sunscreen meant only for faces. I have sensitive skin and some rosacea, so this one I kept to only using on my arms and chest. One of my kids still got a sunburn on her cheeks after I applied this sunscreen, she had quite pale, sensitive skin, so again I would still recommend using something else on the face.

Clear but scented

We go through a lot of sunscreen during summer with little ones, so we’ve tried many brands. This bottle is pretty small, which is both a plus (compact for traveling and putting in your purse) and a minus. I was so pleasantly surprised that this mineral sunscreen doesn’t leave a heavy white cast, as most others do. But, it is fragranced, which is both surprising and disappointing to me for more natural kids’ sunscreen. I do think it is effective, so if you don’t mind having some fragrance, then I would recommend. Our family doesn’t love added fragrances so this isn’t a great fit for us.

This sunscreen lotion is a thin consistency - it spreads and blends easily. Not a lot of tugging on the skin, as with thicker creams. It does not feel heavy or greasy, but it is not as light as a "sheer" sunscreen. This is a good weight for a mineral sunscreen. There is a minimal white cast on my medium toned skin. It's more visible on the darker areas, and less so on the lighter areas. It does seem to fade after a couple hours, so this is acceptable to me for the sun protection. This has a light, sweet coconut scent. Not fake and not overwhelming. Gentle on my kid's skin.
