Talant ligt net naast Plombires les Dijon, maar de wijngaard ligt aan de overkant van de vallei. De stad Dijon gaf er de voorkeur aan dat Marc nieuwe wijngaarden naast de oude plantte, maar Marc besloot de wijngaard in Talant te planten om zich in te dekken tegen plaatselijke vorst of hagelbuien, en ook om een naburig terroir te verkennen

L'Equilibriste Blanc komt van een perceel van 1 ha Chardonnay in de gemeente Talant, aangeplant door Marc in 2018. Talant ligt net naast Plombières-les-Dijon, maar de wijngaard ligt aan de overkant van de vallei. De stad Dijon gaf er de voorkeur aan dat Marc nieuwe wijngaarden naast de oude plantte, maar Marc besloot de wijngaard in Talant te planten om zich in te dekken tegen plaatselijke vorst of hagelbuien, en ook om een ​​naburig terroir te verkennen dat sinds de phylloxera volledig verlaten is. Slim én interessant! In 2021 heeft Marc er ook Aligoté en Savagnin bij aangeplant, met als doel uiteindelijk een witte fieldblend te creëren. Aangezien die planten nog té jong zijn, is deze wijn (nu nog) van 100% Chardonnay. De Equilibriste cuvées worden zonder zwavel gebotteld.
