Bonita Applebaum 2024 is een mousserende natuurwijn (pet nat) uit Catalonië, gemaakt binnen het Fruita Analògica-project. Hier werken jonge makers met biologische wijngaarden en een frisse, eigenzinnige kijk op wijn maken. Het resultaat: een wijn vol energie, lichtheid en een tikje rebellie.

Ze bottelden hem vroeg, terwijl de gisting nog doorging (pure ancestral method) waardoor je een zachte, natuurlijke bubbeltje krijgt die nooit te veel wordt. Aroma’s van rijpe perzik, citrusbloesem, een vleugje Muscat-parfum en subtiele kruiden dansen in je glas. In de mond fris en levendig: sappig fruit, knisperende zuren en een textuur die zachtjes prikkelt. Lichtvoetig, met maar een tikje restsuiker die het speels houdt, en een alcohol die laag genoeg is om er gerust twee (of drie) van open te trekken.

The only minor downside is that it's on the heavy side, probably because of the magnets. But unless you're travelling with it (I've switched to a small Fire tablet for travel), that won't be an issue. Highly recommended.
