In een natuurlijke omgeving wordt de Ylang Ylang boom 10-30 meter hoog, maar wordt tijdens de teelt gesnoeid tot een hoogte van 2-3 meter Het distilleren van de bloemen duurt wel 20 uur, de beste kwaliteit komt na 2-3 uur naar voren en heet Ylang extra genaamd supérieur. Ylang-ylang is een belangrijke grondstof voor parfumerie.

Cosmetica voor aromatische verzorging van de huid. Meng max. 10 druppels in 50 ml biologische Primavera amandelolie.
