De schaal is gemaakt van koper, tin en een mix van acht edele metalen (Ag, Ni, Cd, Ru, Pd, Pt, Cr, Mn). Zo draagt elke klankschaal een uniek karakter, zowel in design als kleur, dat kan afwijken van de foto.

Het ambacht van gehamerde klankschalen

Het maken van gehamerde klankschalen is een nauwkeurig handwerk, waarbij vakmanschap en aandacht centraal staan. Diverse metalen, zoals koper en tin voor brons, worden gesmolten en gemengd met kleine hoeveelheden andere metalen, om de juiste klank te ondersteunen.

Het gesmolten metaal wordt in mallen gegoten en in schijven gesneden die vervolgens met de hand worden gehamerd tot de perfecte vorm en grootte. Dit gebeurt voorzichtig, steeds op roodgloeiend metaal, om scheuren te voorkomen en de zuivere toon te waarborgen.

Na het ruwe vormen volgt het verfijnen: elke schaal krijgt met fijn hamerwerk haar eigen karakter en klank. Tot slot worden de schalen zorgvuldig geschuurd, gepolijst en met beitelwerk voorzien van hun laatste details.

Almost perfect...upraised logo should be left off
This toy is great for relentless chewers with strong jaws! It would be almost perfect if it didn't have a "K9" logo in raised rubber on it. That is the place that my aggressive chewer shepherd/bulldog mix focuses on and is able to get small chunks off. Without that logo, he would chew the ball more evenly, instead of fixating on that one spot. He loves this ball and has chewed on it for about an hour off & on each of the 11 days he has had it. Although it is very durable so far, the flaw is the upraised logo.

Unpredictable bounces

My 3-year old Cavapoo loves these little toys, although I haven’t given them to her all at once. Typically, she is able to chew a little hole in anything with a squeaker within hours.
