Het 8,5 mm handvat van speciaal gehard staal en de versterkte behuizing zorgen voor maximale weerstand tegen diefstalpogingen. Het sluitsysteem maakt het ook eenvoudig om accessoires aan de behuizing van het slot te bevestigen, waardoor de ABUS PRO AMPARO 4750X nog veelzijdiger wordt. Verkrijgbaar in een NR-versie kan de sleutel worden verwijderd als het slot open is, wat extra gemak biedt voor fietsers onderweg.

Met een breedte van 68 mm, een hoogte van 120 mm en een gewicht van 860 g combineert dit slot robuustheid en lichtheid.
