Op de tong een evenwichtige combinatie van subtiele kruiden en verkwikkende zuren. Iets rokerigs in de afdronk maakt Birgit Eichinger Gruner Veltliner Ried Lamm een enorm spannende wijn.

De wijnen van Birgit Eichinger

Wie van Gruner Veltliner houdt, heeft maar slechts een antwoord: De Oostenrijkse wijnen. De Gruner Veltliner is heer en meester op de wijngaarden van dit Alpenland. Zo ook het wijnhuis Birgit Eichinger. Relatief klein en onbekend, maar met zeer grootse daden. Het werd in 1992 opgericht door Birgit Eichinger. Inmiddels omvat het totale areaal een goede 15 hectare. Dit is niet bijzonder veel, echter betreft dit wel de mooiste en beste wijngaarden die je kunt vinden in Kamptal.

De Gruner Veltliner druiven voor deze wijn groeien namelijk op een piepkleine wijngaard gelegen op de Heiligenstein Berg. Gericht naar het zuid-oosten zijn de omstandigheden het allerbest. Het terroir is hier ook nog eens enorm bijzonder. Een bijzondere geologie van zandsteen, vulkanisch gesteente en ook leem en löss. Een unieke samenstelling wat zorgt voor een zeer uitgesproken Gruner Veltliner druif. Met deze Birgit Eichinger Gruner Veltliner Ried Lamm bewijst de wijnmaakster dat ze absoluut bij de top hoort in het wijngebied Kamptal; iets wat Birgit Eichinger altijd heeft geambieerd.

I've been into emulators lately and this is a great HDMI out with charging capabilities to go with your high speed charging brick. Doesn't work for everything, but I can attest it works with the AYN Thor and a Google Pixel 8 Pro, and presumably higher end Pixels. Both have emulators and both come thru my TV just fine. Also works with Kodi. I tried to use wired controllers, but quickly figured I'm better off going Bluetooth on that route. I haven't tried file transfer or anything because all that mattered to me was getting it to the big screen.
