De mouwen zijn afneembaar en kunnen worden vernauwd met klittenbandsluiting, wat de jas geschikt maakt voor verschillende weersomstandigheden.
Voor het opbergen van persoonlijke items is de jas uitgerust met een ingezette borstzak met ritssluiting, twee ingezette zijzakken met ritssluiting en een binnenzak. Met een ruglengte van 75 cm in maat L biedt de jas goede dekking. De Malden kan worden ingeritst in de Sioen 703Z en 708Z jassen voor extra veelzijdigheid. De jas is uitgevoerd in een opvallende combinatie van fluo oranje en marineblauw.
