Materiaal

Eikenhout kenmerkt zich door een lichtbruine tint met een zachtgele gloed en een duidelijk zichtbare nerftekening. Het eiken fineer bestaat uit smalle stroken die zijn verlijmd op een gladde houten basis en afgewerkt met een beschermende coating. Daardoor is het meubel duurzaam in gebruik. Omdat houtfineer een natuurproduct is, kunnen kleine verschillen in kleur en nerftekening voorkomen, wat ieder meubelstuk uniek maakt.

Onderhoud

Behandeld eikenhout fineer is eenvoudig te reinigen met een lichtvochtige, schone doek. Nadrogen zorgt voor een streeploos resultaat. Het verlijmde fineer kan vervormen bij aanraking met hitte en/of vocht. Gebruik daarom onderzetters en plaats gefineerde meubelen altijd binnenshuis.

Veiligheid en levering

Voor meubelen hoger dan 50 cm raden we aan extra aandacht te besteden aan de muurbevestiging. De montage van de valpreventie helpt kantelen te voorkomen. Het dressoir wordt geleverd in drie pakketten en is eenvoudig zelf te monteren met de bijgeleverde handleiding. Plaats viltglijders onder de poten ter bescherming van harde vloeren.

Stylingadvies

Door de natuurlijke bruine tint en strakke lijnen past dit dressoir mooi in een modern, Scandinavisch of rustig minimalistisch interieur. Style de bovenzijde met een tafellamp, een stapel koffietafelboeken of een grote vaas voor een sfeervol geheel.

It’s $30 to return and quickly STINKS from body heat

Original review about $30 return below, but since it cost to return I gave it to my husband. He’s a hot sleeper so other than this pillow we’ve switched to all cotton, linen or wool bedding and it’s made a huge difference. (Polyester is plastic so it reflects your heat back to you and makes you sweat more and doesn’t breathe.) I truly would not have kept this pillow except $30 felt like a waste just to return and he got excited about it. So okay, it’s his. Well I’m the laundry queen in our household (he does all dishes) and I realized very quickly this pillow would need to be washed OFTEN. Like, once a week is NOT enough. Something about body heat and this material smells HORRIBLE. Washing it is obviously not easy, so I handwash the outer layer of the pillow with a very gentle soap (bought for silk). And then it has to hang dry. It doesn’t matter. I can clean it perfectly, no smell remaining whatsoever, but after two nights, it’s so strong I can smell it JUST STANDING NEAR THE BED. Look. I mentioned my hubs sleeps hot, sure. But he’s hygienic. This should not be such an issue. It’s never been an issue with any other pillows. The smell doesn’t even smell like him or like B.O. or anything. It’s awful and legitimately churns my stomach. But can I throw out the stupid $200 thing? Noooo. Now he’s attached. And I’m spending hours of my life each week washing it to keep from feeling sick sleeping near it at night. And to avoid having wasted $200. Hate this thing. DON’T BUY THIS STUPID PILLOW. Dropping from 2 stars to 1 Because of the smell. Original review: I thought I could buy this and see if the height would work for me. It didn’t, and pinched my neck instead. But now the *only* way to return it is to ship through UPS (not return to the UPS Store or Kohl’s or Whole Foods, which would be free). I was going to return it and try a different size, but such a high price just to *try* it is not worth it to me. I’ve returned much larger (defective) items in the past without hassle or cost (like an entire heavy duty garage shelf with broken pieces). Had I known, I would not have ordered in the first place, so I hope this saves someone else. As for the pillow itself, it was unique, but I couldn’t even really lay my head on it for more than a moment until I had let it air out for more than a week. It REEKED upon arrival. My husband said it smelled like ozone, and my brother compared it to the inside of an airplane. It burned my throat if I tried to lay on it for more than about 30 seconds at a time. Two and a half weeks later, the smell is still slightly there. So even if it was comfy for me, I would not keep this pillow.
