Door de unieke 3D structuur neemt Biatain overtollig wondvocht efficiënt weg. Het grote absorptievermogen vermindert de verbandwisselfrequentie, wat minder verstoring van het genezingsproces betekent. Tevens voorkomt de verticale absorptie maceratie van de wondomgeving.
Contact met gehele wondbodem
Bij absorptie van wondvocht vormt Biatain zich naar de wondbodem, waardoor 100 % contact met de wondbodem ontstaat. Dit maakt optimale absorptie mogelijk.
Retentie van opgenomen wondvocht
Biatain is in staat zeer snel wondvocht te absorberen en ook vast te houden.
Zelf onder druk (compressietherapie) wordt het opgenomen wondvocht niet verspreid naar de wondomgeving, waardoor maceratie wordt voorkomen.
