While the Terrain Pack focused on new terrain and rules, the Eastern Front expansion is devoted to the ferocious battles that pit the Axis and Soviet forces against each other. Also included is a scenario drawn from the Russian-Finnish war, and an Overlord scenario of what turned out to be the largest tank battle in history: Kursk. ZIS-3 Gun In order to make the Eastern Front battles more realistic, you can use the Winter/Desert Board, sold separately. With the board, you will also find some simplified campaign rules to connect several battles into a campaign and Blitz rules to play the scenarios occurring in the early years of WWII.
