Bourdic is een wijn coöperatie van maar liefst 100 verschillende wijnboeren. Zij zijn afkomstig uit tien gemeenten rondom de gemeente Nîmes. Zij vertegenwoordigen tezamen meer dan 1600 hectare wijngaarden, wat een enorme hoeveelheid is. Hierdoor heeft Bourdic een hoop kennis en druivenranken tot haar beschikking. Hierdoor kunnen zij een torenhoge kwaliteit waarborgen. La Rabassière Wit bestaat uit drie druivenrassen, namelijk de viognier, roussanne en Grenache blanc. Na de oogst, worden de druiven naar het wijnhuis gebracht. Het bijzondere aan deze witte wijn, is dat de Roussanne gefermenteerd wordt op houten vaten. Hierdoor krijgt deze wijn van Bourdic nog meer body en complexiteit.De geur en smaak van La Rabassière Wit
Uiteraard gaat deze La Rabassière Wit bijzonder goed met truffelgerechten. We hadden ook niet anders verwacht van een wijn die gemaakt wordt ter ere van deze delicatesse. Doordat het aandeel Roussanne in deze witte wijn gefermenteerd wordt op hout, krijgt de wijn enorm vel diepgang. Dit is meteen te ontdekken in de geur, die duidelijke tonen van eikenhout en steenfruit geeft. De smaak is uitbundig, bijzonder en uitgesproken. Je proeft zachte vanille, zwoele honing en iets van gedroogde abrikozen en perzik. Hierdoor krijgt La Rabassière Wit een enorm weelderig karakter.Shipping Notes

Beautiful for decor, not great for anything with heft.

They are easy to install and exactly as pictured. I find them to be lovely and uniform, and they can't with proper instructions and even extra pieces. I took away a star because they are described as "heavy duty" use, but the dowels used to mount the shelves are flimsy. Mine are mounted on combo of studs and drywall, the plates are secure and not going anywhere. The problem is the dowels themselves that fit into the corresponding holes of the shelf: they bend easily. I put three books and bookends on one shelf and watched it tip down. I did attach the bottom screws into the dowels I secure the shelf to the mounting brackets, but that's not going to save any items from sliding off as it bends down over time. I pulled the books immediately and decided to use these for decor only rather than any practical use. The stock photo suggesting lining these shelves with glass jars filled with flour, rice, and lentils is a terrible idea.

Perfect for what I need.

These floating shelves are perfect for the price. There a number of things that I think other reviewers just get wrong. Here are some thoughts and tips:
1) QUALITY: Yes, these are not super high quality. They are not real wood and they are hollow. BUT, real wood is more expensive. You're getting two shelves for about $100. if you want higher quality then you'll have to spend more. For me, i wanted something that looked good and could store knick-knacks. And these certainly fit the bill. It amazes me how people who spend the least always demand the most.
2) STRENGTH: Some people have said these aren't very strong and sag at the ends. These are floating shelves and the ones I got were 12 inches deep. That is a significant amount of leverage on the mounting hardware. it's not that the shelves or the mounts are cheap; it's that physics simply makes floating shelves like this inherently less stable and unable to hold significant weight.
SOLUTION: You have a number of things here that will add to stability. This company provides a generous amount of screws and anchors. USE THEM. If the shelf is long enough, make sure you catch at least two studs to anchor into. There are a decent number of screw eyelets in the mount and they are wide, meaning you have room to play. Finding a stud to mount into should not be too challenging. So that's two screws right there. As for the other eyelets, you will be forced to use wall anchors. Wall anchors are another one of those things that are simply inherently not that strong. They are not meant to take much of a load. But the more you can use, the better. Just know that those can provide some stability but they really don't add a tremendous amount of added strength.
Additionally: if you have a 3d printer or know someone who does, print a support. I was able to find some really discreet supports to print that do not detract from the floating nature of these shelves. If you mount them on one or two sides, you'll have far less "sagging". The additional supports will add significant strength and stability. Given the magic of 3d printing filament, you can literally get any color you need so that you can blend seamlessly into the wall (or just print whatever color and then paint it). If you can use PETG or ASA, or some other strong filament, then you'll be golden. PLA can definitely be used, but just be familiar with the strength limitations of PLA.
All in all, these do the job. They are attractive and support just enough weight to serve their purpose.
