De uitlaatplug (981567) wordt gebruikt om de standaardbedrading af te sluiten die naar de mechanische actuatorklep in de uitlaatkop van de standaard loopt, en voorkomt dat de storingscode door de standaard-ECU wordt geactiveerd. Voor het luchtfilter wordt de andere plug (981570) gebruikt om de standaardbedrading af te sluiten die is aangesloten op de afgedichte inlaatklepactuator (OEM 70991-07) die zich in het standaard luchtfilterhuis van late HD-modellen bevindt. Nogmaals, dit zal ook voorkomen dat de storingscode wordt geactiveerd door de standaard-ECU. Alleen gebruikt op HD-modellen, uitgerust met een mechanische actuatorklep in de uitlaat. Opmerking: zie 981570 alleen voor de Dynojet-luchtfilterplug.
