Lekker strakke en gestructureerde stijl eigen aan Chianti Classico. Perfect evenwicht tussen kracht, fruit en finesse. De wijn zet zich mooi vast in de mond en loopt over in een lange en mooi uitgebalanceerde finale.

Deze jonge stijl Chianti Classico laat zich ideaal vergezellen door een lekker stukje vlees of fijner wild zoals reebok en hinde. Na een paar jaar rijpen krijgt Sangiovese zijn typische complexiteit van bosgrond, truffels en pels en gaat hij ook heerlijk bij meer complexe gerechten met paddenstoelen of truffels bijvoorbeeld.

Klimaat:
Frisse en relatief natte winters terwijl de zomers droog en warm zijn met veel zonuren. 's Nachts kan het sterk afkoelen waardoor de druiven ideaal rijpen en voor meer structuur in de wijn zorgt.

Ondergrond:
Gemaakt van de jongste percelen met een ondergrond van kalk en mergel. Zuid zuid west georiënteerde wijngaarden op 350m hoogte.

Vinificatie:
Met de hand geplukt. Na strenge selectie worden de druiven per soort gefermenteerd in roestvrij stalen tanks met regelmatig overpompen. Na 3 weken wordt het sap gescheiden van de pelletjes en rijpt hij verder in een blend van roestvrij stalen vaten (Sangiovese) en grote tonneaux (Merlot en Cabernet) gedurende 12 maanden. Daarna volgt de blend. Vooraleer hij wordt gebotteld stabiliseert hij nog enkele maanden in roestvrij stalen vaten om de homogeniteit te verhogen.

She had 1 best friend I wish we could have seen a little bit more of their friendship in this book. Her relationship with the male characters was good not to contrived or super instantaneous. And we had some fun plot twists that I didn't expect. I wish we had more of a follow up on the situation with her family her background and her mother who was a wench. I would definitely recommend this book.
