Deze oefenbox is samengesteld om het effect van klimaat op wijnstijl helder en herkenbaar te maken. Alle wijnen in deze box zijn monocépage, zodat je per druif volledig kunt focussen op de invloed van temperatuur, ligging en herkomst zonder verstoring door blends. Door dezelfde druiven uit duidelijk verschillende klimaatzones naast elkaar te proeven, wordt zichtbaar en proefbaar hoe klimaat doorwerkt in rijpheid, structuur en balans. De box sluit direct aan bij WSET Level 2 en is daarnaast zeer geschikt voor wijnliefhebbers die beter willen begrijpen waarom herkomst zo bepalend is voor stijl.

Doel en thema van deze oefenbox

Het doel van deze box is leren herkennen hoe koel, gematigd en warm klimaat zich vertalen naar het glas. Je oefent met het vergelijken van dezelfde druif uit contrasterende omstandigheden en leert je waarnemingen logisch koppelen aan factoren zoals temperatuur, hoogte, continentale of maritieme invloeden. Dit vormt een kernonderdeel van WSET Level 2, waarin klimaat wordt gebruikt om stijlverschillen te verklaren.

Hoe kun je deze box gebruiken

Deze box werkt het best wanneer je per druif in duo’s proeft. Zet telkens twee wijnen van dezelfde druif naast elkaar en begin bij voorkeur blind. Beschrijf eerst appearance, nose en palate volgens de SAT-structuur en kijk pas daarna naar herkomst en klimaat. Door deze volgorde consequent aan te houden, leer je redeneren vanuit wat je waarneemt in het glas en voorkom je dat voorkennis je proefnotities stuurt. Het vergelijken van koel tegenover warm klimaat per druif maakt patronen snel zichtbaar.

This chair offers good lumbar support and a well-padded seat. It has a very nice and smooth rocking motion, you can loosen the tight/loose knob for reclining, and it is very comfortable to sit in while working on the computer or relaxing to watch TV. The back of the chair hits just above my neck, so the back of my head rests comfortably on the top of the chair. The color, brown, is exactly what I expected and looks professional. The height adjustment works well, it sits higher than my old chair, and I like that. It seems sturdy for the 300-pound weight recommended. I got it on Prime Day, so it was a good value for the money. It came packed well and quicker than expected. The pictures are a comparison to my 20-year-old office chair. Assembling the chair was easy, however, be sure to attach the bottom part of the chair with the tight/loose knob facing the front of the chair. It's not clearly marked on the instructions. When it came time to put the back of the chair on it would be good to have another person to hold the chair back for you to align the chair arm holes and screw in, then you should be OK but I did discover that if I had attached the arms to the back of the chair first, it would be so much easier to align them for attachment. The wheels glide very easily and will take you across the room after one push. It swivels at 360 degrees easily, almost making me dizzy. I am writing this review the same day I got the chair so I will update if I run into any issues. Otherwise, I recommend this chair.

When Covid hit early 2020, I was sent home to work remotely for the first time in my working life. However, my old chair that is pictured on the right is about 25 years old and no longer has any butt cushion. It quickly became painful to work in that chair all day. I have since moved to a new state and found a remote job I will be starting soon so I decided it was time to upgrade the chair. This is a decent chair if you are on a budget like I am and you are not hard on your stuff adding premature wear and tear. For me, it has good lumbar support which I needed, and more cush for the tush! I am a proportionate 5'2" female and about 125 to 130 pounds. The seat has just enough room for my butt but I don't think I would recommend this for larger people. I would look into sizing up to the big and tall chair. Take note of the seat and back size to know what would work best for you but this chair feels small yet good sized for me only because I was able to go by the measurements of my old chair. Might even be best for you to go into an office supply store to test out chair sizes for comfort before making a purchase. Sometimes I like to sit criss-cross applesauce and this chair has a very nice and smooth rocking motion after loosening the tight/loose knob for reclining and is so comfortable for me that I may fall asleep on the job and get fired. The back of the chair hits just above my neck so I am able to tilt my head back a bit to let it rest since my upper back and neck sometimes go numb after sitting for too long. Ugh, it's just so much fun getting older!! Assembling the chair was easy until I got to step 4 to put the back of the chair on. If you have another person to hold the chair back for you to align with the chair arm holes and screw in, then you should be OK, but since I had no one to help, I had to take the seat off and lay it down. I still struggled to align the back while the arms were attached to the seat so I removed the arms from the seat and attached them to the chair back and then aligned the seat with the arms and screwed them in. Once done, I inserted the completed assembled seat, chair back, and arm attachments back onto the wheels. The wheels glide very easily and will take you across the room after one push. I am writing this review the same day I got the chair so will update if I run into any issues. Otherwise, I recommend this chair.

I give this chair a 4 star not a 5 star review. Reason for that if you look for the first picture I pst you can see from the back of the chair how it reclines. There is no adjustment to make the back rest come up straight so when your working all day at the desk you is an upright right position. I have to put a pillow behind my back for support cause while working leaning back is uncomfortable and who wants to lean back while working. so there is a lack of back support. .Great gaming chair for that reason. Though I really like the looks and the color of the chair. The material was very soft and the quality was made well. The chair you can make go up or down for the height which is nice. The ability to be able to move the char around while sitting is a plus and the wheels move smooth and with ease. I had to put this together which was simple to do and came with everything I needed when open the box. So before buying if the back support and leaning back isnt an issue for you then this would be the perfect chair for you. Please not the first picture with the darker rug is the chair I got , second picture isnt mine but for a review that their chair was up straight. Isnt the way mine should have come. I didnt questioned or return it because it was so heavy and bulky to take back to a UPS store. I just kept it because everything else was great.
