The vintage
The mild and rainy spring brought about a rather early budburst and flowering, suggesting a great potential. The radiant summer was followed by an Indian summer which made the vines happy just before the harvest which took place under the best auspices.

Blend :
Cabernet sauvignon (76.1%), merlot (42%), cabernet franc (2%).

Tasting :
Combining power and freshness, the 2019 vintage delivers a Château Phélan-Ségur of very high quality. The robe is deep red with purple reflections. On the nose, the aromas of ripe black fruits mingle with toasted notes to form a complex bouquet. In the mouth, Phélan-Ségur 2019 is fleshy and crisp, all in a harmony that brings freshness and aromatic persistence.
