In 1992 liet de Catalaanse wijnmaker zijn droom uitkomen en richtte hij zijn eigen wijnmakerij op, waar hij sindsdien met handwerk veelgeprezen cava's produceert. Hij vertrouwt op de traditionele cava-druivensoorten Xarello, Macabeo en Parellada, maar ook op Chardonnay. De mousserende wijnen rusten zeker 15 maanden in de 23 meter diepe en ruim 1000 meter lange kelder, waarin bijna monastieke rust heerst. De bekroonde en begeerde Cava's maken indruk met hun grote elegantie en fijne aroma's. De blend voor deze Tresor Reserva Cava bestaat uit 40 procent Macabeu, 40 procent Xarello en 20 procent Parellada. Deze druiven zijn afkomstig van zowel oude als jonge wijngaarden in geselecteerde gebieden in de centrale en Upper Penedes. De wijnstokken staan op kalkrijke bodems. De Macabeu brengt finesse en frisheid aan dit glas Cava, de Xarello zorgt voor structuur en de Parellada geeft hem zijn heerlijke geur.Langdurige rijping voor Pere Ventura Tresor Reserva Cava
Elke druifsoort wordt apart geoogst en zacht geperst. De fermentatie vindt vervolgens plaats op roestvrijstalen tanks bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur van 16 tot 18 graden. Na het mengen wordt er een zachte, lichte klaring uitgevoerd. De tweede gisting vindt plaats op de fles waardoor de cava meer complexiteit krijgt. De wijn rijpt in totaal 24 tot 30 maanden in de diepe ondergrondse kelders. Het resultaat is geweldig en zeker het wachten waard. Hij kleurt aantrekkelijk strogeel in het glas. Verassende krachtige aroma’s komen vrij die doen denken aan appels en citrusvruchten. Hij is stevig in de mond met veel verschillende smaken. High quality sheepskin!!

This sheepskin was purchased as a "chair cover" for my pets. It arrived with very nice packaging, along with detailed care instructions. The sheepskin was advertised as being"not white" online, and the company made very sure to state that the fur has an "off white/yellow" color. That was a little concerning for me, and I wasn't really sure whether it would have an off color, but it arrived exactly as described. There were no obvious discolorations, spots, or blemishes. In fact, it arrived as a soft "off white" color that is very beautiful and exquisite. The fur has a plush, even look, and there is no matting or fuzzy, "neglected teddy bear look" at all!
I actually purchased another brand to see if I could distinguish the difference between the two. This particular sheepskin is by far the better of the two purchases.
FYI: When the package was opened, there was no distinct odor. That's a huge plus!
I will admit that the size was slightly smaller than expected. It really doesn't matter much in the space I'm using it for though. My miniature Dachshund loves it!
If you're trying to find a high quality sheepskin, and you don't need to cover a very large space, this is definitely the one to buy!

The Quality of the sheepskin is awesome.

This rug is a beautiful specimen of New Zealand sheep. The rug is very very soft, the rug is thick, and the brown tips are fabulous looking. All in all I'm very pleased with this purchase. The size is perfect as it measures 2' x 3'. I would buy again from this seller.

Plush rug that’s super soft. WOW!

Beautiful and super plush! I use it as an outer blanket when cold weather camping. Like a modern day cave man. One of my favorite purchases. I avoid kneeling on it while it’s on my mattress fearing it might split the hide, or damage the stitching. It fits my queen size camper bed. Cant say enough!
