Materiaaleigenschappen Cortenstaal

Onze metalen dieren worden gemaakt van het weervaste cortenstaal, dit materiaal zal door weersinvloeden na verloop van tijd een karakteristieke roestbruine kleur krijgen door de oxidehuid die zich vormt. Deze oxidehuid beschermt het dieperliggende materiaal het hele jaar door. Zo blijft deze metalen Leonberger jarenlang beschermd. Net als alle andere cortenstalen decoraties die wij leveren, wordt deze metalen hond geleverd in ‘’blank’’ metaal.
