Wijnhuis Domaine Ellevin

De Bourgogne in Frankrijk is het mekka voor alle fijnproevers! Van kazen en Dijonmosterd tot likeuren en anijs, de streekproducten van Bourgogne zijn om duimen en vingers bij af te likken. Het pronkstuk van deze streek zijn natuurlijk de plaatselijke wijnen die allemaal het AOC keurmerk dragen. Hun elegante smaken en aroma’s zijn heel representatief van deze verfijnde streek. Eén van de oudste familiebedrijven, het wijnhuis Domaine Ellevin, ligt in het noordelijkste punt van de Bourgogne in de buurt van Chablis. De familie Ellevin runt dit domein van zestien hectare met veel zorg en passie. Deze familie staat al jarenlang in het vak, en produceert wijnen met respect voor de eeuwenoude tradities van de streek. In de wijngaarden van Domaine Ellevin groeit maar één druivenras, de Chardonnay, waarmee de beroemde plaatselijk Chablis mee wordt gemaakt. Bij Domaine Ellevin maken ze smaakvolle en kwaliteitsvolle Chablis. Ze worden zeer hoog aangeschreven door prestigieuze wijnbladen en -kenners, en hebben verschillende prijzen gewonnen.

Hand size mighty grinder

Hi- I think this is a good grinder although to this point I ground about 2/3 of the glass chamber full of a good quality peppercorn. I like a coarse grind and this device gives that grind consistently. I like the cover and it's fit. The overall look is pleasing and think it's a good bang for the buck. It's easy to use and adjusts to your personal needs or wants. If your debating this device and am worried if you'll get years of use I know I don't force it but rather learn to allow the tool to do the work. I think it will last me for quite a while and even if I have to replace it once a year it's a well built unit that you can enjoy using. If you have arthritic hands and use this for hard products like fresh peppercorns or coarse Himalayan salt then treat yourself to a good rechargeable grinder (or better yet ask your children to get you one for all the great meals you make for them & have made for them !)
