Domaines Ott Clos Mireille Blanc de Blancs

Clos Mireille Blanc de Blancs is de iconische witte wijn van Domaines Ott, afkomstig van een uitzonderlijk terroir direct aan de Middellandse Zee. Deze wijn combineert elegantie, mineraliteit en aromatische rijkdom in een unieke blend van Sémillon en Rolle. Een karaktervolle Provence Blanc die al decennialang internationale bewondering oogst.

Wijngaarden en regio – maritiem terroir met finesse

Het wijndomein Clos Mireille ligt in La Londe-les-Maures, een natuurgebied van 174 hectare waarvan 56 hectare is beplant met wijnstokken. De wijngaarden hellen af richting zee en profiteren van constante bries en mediterrane zon. De bodem bestaat uit schist en kwarts, arm en goed drainerend, wat resulteert in lage opbrengsten en hoge concentratie in de druiven. De ligging vlak bij zee geeft de wijn zijn kenmerkende ziltige ondertoon.

Vinificatie en rijping – geduld en precisie

Na handmatige oogst ondergaan de druiven een strenge selectie. De fermentatie verloopt langzaam bij gecontroleerde temperatuur. Vervolgens rijpt de wijn minimaal acht maanden in grote eiken vaten. Deze aanpak geeft structuur en diepte zonder de frisheid en puurheid van het fruit te verliezen.

Druivensamenstelling

70% Sémillon
30% Rolle (Vermentino)

Proefnotities

Heldergeel van kleur met een gouden glans. De neus is intens en aromatisch met tonen van citrusschil, dennenknop, acacia en honing. De smaak is vol en verfijnd, met een combinatie van rijp wit fruit, nootachtige nuances en een minerale frisheid. De afdronk is licht citroenachtig en elegant lang.

Serveersuggesties

Uitstekend bij gegrilde vis, bouillabaisse, oesters of schaal- en schelpdieren. Serveer op 10 tot 12 graden voor maximale expressie van frisheid en complexiteit.

These are by far the softest and most comfortable underwear I have ever owned.
