Dit comfortabele RedTed wielershirt is een replica van het shirt van de Gan-Mercier-Hutchinson wielerploeg uit de periode 1973-1976.

De sponsor Gan is een verzekeringsbedrijf. De ploeg Gan-Mercier is een variant van de bekende Franse wielerploeg Mercier - fabrikant van koersfietsen. Van 1935 tot en met 1983 was deze sponsor actief in het wielrennen. Mercier won tweemaal de Tour de France: in 1937 en in 1955. Bekende renners zijn onder andere de populaire Raymond Poulidor, de vijfvoudig tourwinnaar Jacques Anquetil en Joop Zoetemelk.


De ploeg Gan-Mercier won in de periode 1973-1976 veel koersen en een groot aantal etappes in de Tour de France, waaronder tweemaal een tweede plek in de Tour door Raymond Poulidor in 1974 en Joop Zoetemelk in 1976.

Lastly, the look of the chair and the comfort is exceptional. I ordered the black/white chair which looks amazing. The comfort of the chair is really excellent. My back is supported by the lumbar seat and having the armrests being able to go up when not needed is wonderful. The quality of the chair is definitely worth the price.

Assembled chair only to find that the lift cylinder was faulty. Would have preferred to be able to just get a replacement cylinder but calling China didn't seem like a viable option. Again, if we could only have asked the seller for the replacement part......**Update**...Or if the instructions that seemed so clear were clearer!, as we started to disassemble, we decided to see what would happen if the tension knob (see photo) was loosened. IT ALLOWED THE LIFT CYLINDER TO WORK. Not at all what the instructions say. At any rate, we're keeping the chair.
