Yields were smaller, yet the grapes achieved fine aromatic definition and vibrant acidity. Crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, the wine matured for approximately seven to eight years on the lees before its release in the early 2000s.

Upon release, the 1993 showed a firmer, more focused profile than the preceding vintage, offering notes of green apple, citrus, white flowers, and a subtle mineral edge, complemented by delicate hints of toasted bread and almond.
