De 2/2 mm neopreenopbouw voelt soepel en comfortabel, met voldoende isolatie tegen wind over natte huid en tegen schuren op dek, rails of peddel. De damespasvorm sluit mooi aan rond borst, taille en heupen zodat alles op zijn plek blijft bij waterstarts, duckdives of een sprong van de boot. De V-Zip backzip opent wijd, waardoor instappen makkelijk is op de parkeerplaats of in de kuip; de zachte kraag en nette armsgaten voorkomen wrijving onder impactvest of trapeze.

In praktijk merk je vooral hoe “vergeetbaar” de Fire Shorty aanvoelt: je trekt ’m snel aan, stapt het water in en denkt er niet meer aan. Het pak spoelt gemakkelijk door na een val en droogt vlot tussen sessies, zodat je niet met een klamme shorty begint aan ronde twee. De pijpen zijn lang genoeg om niet op te kruipen bij zitten of sprinten, terwijl de elastische boorden prettig sluiten zonder af te snijden. Het materiaal is gekozen op duurzaamheid in zout en zon, waardoor pasvorm en stretch lang behouden blijven.
