Op haar tweede album ‘Kijk Je Naar Mij?’ draait Froukje (24) haar blik om. Waar haar debuut naar binnen keek, kijkt deze plaat naar buiten: naar de wereld, naar de liefde in al haar vormen, en naar de wonderlijke verhouding tot haar eigen artiestenleven. Hoe is het om de entertainer te zijn die wil dat iedereen kijkt, en tegelijk te verlangen naar de stilte achter het podium, zonder kostuum, zonder al die ogen?

Ze schreef het album volledig zelf, en produceerde het grotendeels ook in haar eentje. De afwerking deed ze samen met 22Ghosts. Persoonlijk en gepolijst tegelijk - twee dingen die elkaar bij Froukje zelden in de weg zitten. Singles als ‘Iedereen Gaat Vreemd’ en ‘Jaar Na Jaar’ geven al een idee: fris, zelfverzekerd, en met de losheid van iemand die weet wat ze aan het doen is.

Haar debuut ‘Noodzakelijk Verdriet’ zette haar zonder omwegen in de top van de Nederlandse muziek. Nummer 1 in Nederland én België, het meest gestreamde Nederlandse album van 2024, en een Edison voor Beste Album.

For the Back Pocket Carrier out there....

I think this wallet is awesome! I've been carrying for about a week and it is working out great. I usually don't carry cash but for the last week, I've actually had a little cash on me. I've been carrying this wallet in my back pocket and sitting on it with no issues. I'm a big guy (300 lbs) and, so far, it's held up great. In all honesty, I do take it out of my pocket and put it in my console when I drive, but that's it. Everywhere else I go, and sit, it stays in my back pocket. I know it's only been a week, but I'm glad to see that I haven't crushed it, or deformed it, or anything. Ultimately, it's been great and I'm glad I got this one.
