Dit wijnhuis is al generaties lang in het bezit van de familie Brunel. De wijntraditie begon in de 17e eeuw toen Gaston Brunel in 1945 het Chateau de la Gardine in Chateauneuf du Pape verwierf. Vandaag de dag wordt het landgoed gerund door zijn twee zonen, Patrick en Maxime, en werken met veel passie en toewijding in hun 52 hectare wijngaarden. Het domein staat bekend om de kwaliteit van hun wijnen en om de unieke Gardine-fles. Tegenwoordig wordt ongeveer 70 procent van de productie geëxporteerd naar ongeveer 30 landen. De wijngaarden voor deze wijn, Cairanne Rouge, liggen in het noorden van de Vaucluse tussen de Aygues en de Ouvèze. Na de oogst worden de Grenache- en Syrah-druiven geplet en gefermenteerd. De fermentatie duurt ongeveer 10 tot 25 dagen en wordt gevolgd door een rijping in eikenhouten vaten. Een Cairanne die zich kan meten met het niveau van Châteauneuf du Pape.Wat eten we bij Brunel de la Gardine Cairanne?
In het glas heeft de Gardine Brunel Cairanne een granaatrode kleur. In de neus domineert Syrah met tonen van gedroogde pruimen, zoethout en leer. Het typische kruidige aroma van 'les garrigues' voor de regio komt ook tot uiting in de geur. In de mond is de wijn fluweelzacht met rijpe fijne tannines en rijp donker fruit, dat de spanning weet vast te houden tot aan de afdronk. De wijn (zoals veel rode wijnen mag je niet te heet drinken. 14-16 ℃ is perfect. De wijn past goed bij gegrilde groenten. Simple, Comfortable, and Exactly What You Expect

These are pretty much exactly what you want from a set of dumbbells — simple, functional, and no nonsense. The neoprene coating gives them a comfortable grip and keeps them from feeling slick in your hands, especially during longer workouts or if your hands get sweaty.
