Gebruik
De Idyl Infrarood voorhoofdthermometer kan gebruikt worden voor het contactloos meten van de lichaamstemperatuur op het voorhoofd. Het apparaat bepaalt de lichaamstemperatuur door analyse van de infraroodstraling. Het kan zowel bij volwassenen als bij kinderen en in de thuisomgeving gebruikt worden.
Aanwijzigingen voor gebruik
Zorg ervoor dat het voorhoofd droog, schoon en vrij van zweet en cosmetica is. Schakel het apparaat in met de on/off-toets. Plaats de sonde op 2 cm afstand van het voorhoofd tussen de wenkbrauwen. Druk op de on/off-toets en lees de temperatuur af van het LCD-scherm. Vanaf een gemeten temperatuur van 37,5 graden Celsius is er een koortsalarm te horen. Na 10 seconden wordt het apparaat automatisch uitgeschakeld.

Niet gebruiken indien het apparaat beschadigd is.

Fast and easy but I dont trust the process to be fully automated.
The process was very smooth and fairly quick. The only challenge I had was that the CLAIM status showed complete but I had to manually go look up the status. There was no email or notification it was closed. After manually checking the status, I called customer support and they said since I called in, they would process the payout. I wonder if I didnt call in if they would have processed it? Also, the phone rep said they would issue me a amazon egift card but then the next day I received a email saying they mailed out the payout. Very poor communication but so far the process was easy and fast.

Don't waste your time. They'll just deny claim
Not a very reliable form of insurance. I had to file a claim on a 2 month old bedframe and they gave me the run around until I contacted Amazon.

No hassle to file and get a claim resolved.
I have to say, I expected a lot of hoops to jump through. Companies are all very eager to take your money, but when it comes time to pay out, in this case (Product Insurance) quite often it is a different story. But to my surprise that is not the case with Asurion. I submited my claim, and a few days latter I received my check. At 77 and retired from the computer field i have seen alot of things with companies that do not care about customer service and satisfaction. But when you make a purchase from Amazon with their 30 day return policy and Asurion insurance. You can't beat it.
