De fijne bubbelstructuur en frisse afdronk maken het een favoriete keuze voor feestelijke gelegenheden.

Omschrijving: een gastronomische mousserende wijn! Aroma’s van appel in alle hoedanigheden: gele appel, gedroogde appel, appelstroop en appeltaart. Maar in deze complexe wijn zijn ook geuren en smaken van gekonfijte sinaasappelschil (lees Pim’s!), brioche en cantuccini met heerlijke geroosterde amandelen te herkennen. De balans tussen deze rijpere vollere aroma’s en de frisse zuren is erg aangenaam. Die zuren spelen ook een belangrijke rol in de textuur (dosage wordt niet gemist!) en de lange afdronk die deze Blanc de Noirs heeft. Schenk in een groter glas om optimaal te genieten.

Bijzonderheden: "Domein Cuvelier heeft wijngaarden in Jesseren, Kerniel en Haren, idyllische deelgemeenten van Borgloon. De broers Yves en Patrick runnen samen het domein. Ze werden grootgebracht tussen de peren- en appelbomen en delen een passie voor wijn. Yves is fruithandelaar en maakt de wijn, Patrick is fruitteler en dus de baas in de wijngaarden. De broers Cuvelier gebruiken een minimum aan bestrijdingsmiddelen en sulfiet en de wijnen worden niet gefilterd om de pure expressie van de druiven / wijn in de fles te krijgen."

Not eczema skin friendly

Since I didn’t remember which sunblock spray I had previously purchased (that was super awesome), I got this one with a few other ‘kid’ sunblock spray and stick. I had grabbed this one for a splash pad birthday party this weekend only to find out it’s messy and not eczema skin friendly. Either we got a defective bottle or it’s just the way it sprays: runny goops of sunscreen that takes awhile to dry properly (see photo). And when it dries it really does stick onto your skin as advertised (aka not breathable, pore clogging, will irritate sensitive/eczema prone skin). My youngest has eczema prone skin (that’s been flare up free for 3 years) had a severe break out on her arms after using this. And even for the sake of photo demonstration for this post my own sensitive skin got red/irritated. So does it stick-yup. Is it messy? Definitely. Easy to apply? No (your kiddos have to stay put until it dries). Did it provide sun protection? Maybe…? Sensitive skin friendly? No. Eczema skin approved? Definitely not. Recommended? Nope. We threw it away and requested a refund.
