Achtergrondinformatie: In 1952 kocht Josef Stern zijn eerste wijngaard. Hij was een erkend houtkuiper en bouwde houten vaten en kisten. Naast het verbouwen van wijndruiven begon hij zich ook bezig te houden met distilleren van schnaps. In 1980 nam zoon Wolfgang het bedrijf over. Hij moderniseerde en legde daarmee de basis voor kwalitatief hoogwaardig gemaakte wijnen. Het landgoed heeft 10 hectare aan wijngaarden op gevarieerde, zandige lössgronden met een licht kalkgehalte. Nu staat Wolfgang met zijn zoon Dominic aan het roer. Dominic is een erkend technicus in Wijnbouw en Oenologie. Zijn praktijkervaring deed hij op in de Pfalz, Zuid-Afrika en de Wachau. Beiden hechten veel belang aan milieuvriendelijk en kwaliteitsbewust werken in de wijngaard, met het motto: minder is vaak meer!

All I can say is "WOW". I was skeptical about changing over from my Sawgrass to another brand of sublimation printers. But now I wish I started here from the start! Not only does this machine cost a good amount less with the same paper sizes and options as my SG500 but the ink is cheaper per cartridge and 11ml larger than the standard 30ml I am use to.
