Installatie

🔴 Moeilijkheidsgraad: moeilijk. Reken op ongeveer 60 minuten. Benodigd gereedschap: iMac opening tool (pizzasnijder) of dun wielmes, zuignappen, plastic prytools, T8 / T10 Torx, Phillips PH00, antistatische polsband, vervangende lijmstrips (op modellen vanaf 2012).

Ja, op de iMac 21,5 inch A1311 uit Late 2009, Mid 2010 en Mid 2011. Niet op de slim-iMac A1418 (2012 en later) of de 27 inch A1312.

Welk gereedschap heb ik nodig?
Twee stevige zuignappen om het magnetisch bevestigde glas te lichten, plastic prytools, T8 / T10 Torx, Phillips PH00 en een antistatische polsband. Bij dit model zit het scherm magnetisch bevestigd dus geen lijmsnijden nodig.

Hoe moeilijk is de installatie?
🔴 moeilijk: het scherm moet eraf om bij de drive te komen. Bij de A1311 helpt het dat het glas magnetisch losklikt — minder risico op breuk dan bij de latere slim-iMacs.
