Eloquent Formalism viert het opmerkelijke nalatenschap van Jan en Lieve Andries-Vanlouwe en hun hedendaagse kunstcollectie die ze met veel passie opgebouwd hebben. Deze prachtig samengestelde publicatie biedt een intieme kijk op een selectie van belangrijke naoorlogse en hedendaagse kunstwerken en weerspiegelt de diepe waardering van het echtpaar voor het vermogen van kunst om grenzen te overschrijden en om te inspireren tot nieuwe manieren van zien. 

Met een focus op de zuiverheid van vorm, kleur en textuur, belicht het boek werken van opmerkelijke kunstenaars zoals Léon Spilliaert, Mark Rothko, Serge Poliakoff en anderen die de Europese en Amerikaanse kunstscènes van de 20e eeuw hebben vorm gegeven. Naast de diepgaande artistieke waarde van de collectie, beschrijft het boek de missie van de Andries-Vanlouwe Foundation om deze culturele schat te behouden en tegelijkertijd toegankelijk te maken voor het publiek.

Door middel van essays, rijk beeldmateriaal en doordachte reflecties laat Eloquent Formalisme niet alleen de visuele kracht van de collectie zien, maar dient het ook als een testament voor de blijvende bijdragen van Jan en Lieve aan de kunstwereld. Deze publicatie is verschenen samen met de tentoonstelling Eloquent Formalism die in november 2024 het vernieuwde paviljoen in Museum Dhondt Dhaenens inhuldigde.
