Mapei is een voormalige wielerploeg van Italiaanse en Belgische origine. De ploeg was actief in het peloton van 1992 tot 2003. De bijnaam van de wielerploeg was squadra azurra of blauwe armada. De ploeg was vooral succesvol op de eendagswedstrijden en wielerklassiekers. Samen winnen was het motto van Mapei. Dit kwam het sterkst tot uiting in Parijs-Roubaix, waar tot driemaal het volledige podium gevuld was met wielrenners van Mapei. In 2003 nam Quick step de ploeg over als hoofdsponsor. De Quick Step ploeg is dus in principe een voortzetting van Mapei.
