De Expedition Global van Silva is een geavanceerd plaatkompas. Het kompas is compact maar heeft veel slimme functies en is daardoor erg compleet. Het Expedition Global plaatkompas is gemaakt voor de meer ervaren gebruiker of professional.

De Expedition Global heeft haar naam gekregen door de kompasnaald. Deze werkt in alle magnetische zones op aarde en dus wereldwijd (Global). De draaibare windroos is zorgt voor snelle navigatie. De transparante plaat van de Expedition Global bevat handige schalen om afstanden op de onderliggende kaart te bepalen. Dit kan je ook doen met het keycord, die fungeert als liniaal met twee extra schalen. Handig voor om langere afstanden op te meten.

De plaat is ook voorzien van een ingebouwd vergrootglas. Samen met de rubberen grip is dit ideaal voor precisie tijdens het navigeren. Navigeren in de nacht is ook geen probleem met de oplichtende markeringen. De Expedition Global is gemaakt van robuust materiaal en geschikt voor de meest extreme weersomstandigheden.

Het merk Silva

In 1933 vonden de Zweedse broers Björn, Alvar en Arvid Kjellström het eerste met vloeistof gevulde kompas uit en daarmee begon de geschiedenis voor Silva. Het was niet alleen het eerste kompas in zijn soort, maar het legde ook meteen de basis voor hedendaagse navigatie. This bag had soft leather and looked just like the picture on the product page. There is the main compartment, two zippers and two slip pockets on the inside. I do like the bag, but I don’t usually like slip pockets because a lot of times when you’re just throwing things into the bag items might go into a slip pocket without you realizing it. I didn’t pay attention to this when I bought the bag, but I still really like it. On the back is a large compartment with a zipper. On the front is another large compartment with a zipper and a pocket with a magnetic snap. I bought the brownish color one and it’s really beautiful. I would definitely recommend it. It does come with two straps I am trying out the one they call Boho for now. It is very nice. The other one which I guess is leather also is much thinner.

The title say everything there is to say about this purse. I especially loved the two outside pockets that worked perfectly for my phone, keys etc. making them easily accessible. Unfortunately the inside zipped compartment that many find useful was the bane of my life.. I could not remember whether I had put something inside the zipped pocket or on either side - and if so on which side. Besides which all small things (lipstick, small pill case, etc) fell on their side and were very difficult to see and find in the black interior. I guess I am too used to a purse organizer (light colored) which has stiff pockets in which everything stands up vertically. All it takes is a glance to locate what you need.. I had to, almost regretfully, return this purse but lesson learned - only buy a purse minus middle pocket which leaves no room for an organizer.

The Iswee Soft Leather Cross Body Bag is a really nice Bag, and I love it. but, the front pocket has a Magnet that's supposed to keep it closed, but the Magnetic Closure doesn't work, therefore I can't use that pocket. I've taken it to a couple places to maybe have a new magnet put in, but they said they couldn't do it because of the cloth lining. So I just recommend that if you buy one, make sure to check that front pockets magnets Closure to make sure it works. I truly hate that I can't use that pocket for my key fob and my phone as it would be so much better if I could. Other than that, I do recommend it, its the perfect bag and size for me and it's not heavy, and well made.. The leather is very nice too. The Only reason, I gave it 4 stars, is the front magnet doesn't work which is disappointing. Good luck with the magnet if you get one.
